Income Qualified & Senior Citizen Discounts

We strive to make utility access more equitable and affordable.

Through our income-qualified discount, customers who are eligible will receive a 30% discount on their water and/or power usage charges. Seniors, 60 and older, who are eligible for the discount may be eligible to have their service charges waived.

Starting January 1, 2026:

  • Discount rate increases from 25% to 30%
  • Discount participants only need to renew every other year.

Qualifying Income Levels for these Programs

Qualification is based on the income of all household members over 18. The maximum gross income follows:

The above income limits are based on 200% of the current federal poverty level and are updated annually in February. NOTE: If you are enrolled in other low income programs such as SNAP, Ohio Medicaid, HEAP, etc., you can still qualify for our program regardless of the income table above.
