2026 One Columbus Culture Day

One Columbus Culture Day

"An international experience"

The City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods New American Program, in partnership with North YMCA, will host its third annual “One Columbus Culture Day” on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30p.m. at 1640 Sandalwood Place, Columbus, Ohio 43229.

This event celebrates culture and fosters unity and collaboration by building bridges. We are therefore excited about bringing together the different international cuisines, performances, poetry and thematic stories to celebrate our diverse cultures that make up Columbus.

As a citywide event, One Columbus Culture Day provides opportunities for networking, cultural and artistic exhibitions, and children’s activities. We again encourage all residents and stakeholders across Columbus to show up and celebrate with us.

Since its launch, and with support from Rise Up CBUS! One Columbus Culture Day has attracted over 500 participants, 50 exhibitors, 20 different cultural performing groups and 7 food trucks with diverse authentic ethnic foods. The event is free and open to the public and exhibitors.

Come prepared to share aspects of your programs, services, culture and traditions. Bring along your family, neighbors, team and colleagues!

Event Highlights:

▪ Opening ceremony: Meet with Columbus leaders

▪ Performers: Singers, dancers, drummers, spoken word

▪ Food: Authentic ethnic and international flavors

▪ Cultural display: Organizations are welcome to share what they do

▪ Thematic story telling: Reflection of the past and reimagining the future

▪ Networking and mingling: Meet and network with diverse folks from all over Columbus to share your services, programs and make people aware of your upcoming events.

▪ Children’s activities: Participate in culturally diverse and meaningful games from various countries.
