City of Columbus to rededicate street in honor of passed beloved Linden leader, George M. Walker Jr., next week

WHO:         George M. Walker Jr., who passed away earlier this year, was a cherished and influential figure in the Linden community for many decades.

                   Various city leaders and two granddaughters will be in attendance to speak about Mr. Walker and his impact on the Linden community.

WHAT:       The street sign for 23rd Avenue, at the corner of Cleveland Avenue, will be officially converted to "George M. Walker Jr. Way".

WHEN:      Friday, July 11, 2025
