Public Safety Week is Coming to the Southside!

October 25–30, 2026

Public Safety Week is heading to Columbus’ Southside for a week of community engagement, neighborhood activities, and opportunities to connect residents with the people and organizations working to keep our community safe.

Throughout the week, residents can expect a mix of community conversations, family-friendly activities, neighborhood outreach, recognition of public safety professionals, safety resources, and a community cleanup.

Public Safety Week is designed to bring residents, public safety professionals, community organizations, and neighborhood leaders together outside the traditional public meeting setting — creating opportunities to build relationships, share information, and strengthen our neighborhoods.

Events are being planned throughout the Southside from Sunday, October 25 through Friday, October 30. Additional information, including specific event times, locations, and registration details, will be announced as plans are finalized.
