Strengthening Communities

What We Do:

We engage individuals who suffer from alcohol and/or substance use disorder. Throughout the engagement we offer support, linkage to treatment, identify social determinants of health that could be harmful, and use local resources to address them. In addition, we educate the community in prevention, harm reduction, and reduce stigma that is associated with alcohol and/or substance use disorder.

A Path To Recovery:

Once an individual has made the decision to seek treatment, our team conducts an in-depth screening to ensure the most appropriate treatment facility is utilized. We then offer transportation and case management at no cost to the individual. Additionally, individuals can join REACT Alumni a group that helps provide social support through monthly events that celebrate recovery.

Who We Are:

We are a multi-disciplinary team composed of Columbus Division of Fire, Columbus Division of Police, and clinicians from multiple agencies throughout Franklin County. CFD REACT was created to address barriers to treatment and the effects of substance use disorder has on individuals and their families.
