1. Please Arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of class.
2. Eighteen students maximum, for each class.
3. We accept Check, Money Order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover
4. Upon successful completion of the course participants are awarded a certification card.
5. All classes are subject to cancellation. 

The Columbus Division of Fire offers private classes for businesses and groups. Each class has a minimum requirement of 12 participants. Classes can be held at our facility or at a location of your choosing. For off-site locations, a site visit is required to ensure adequate learning space. To schedule a class, contact the Division via email CFD_CPR@columbus.gov, include group size and location address if CFD is not hosting.

BLS for Healthcare Providers- Cost is $50 per person (Prices subject to change)

• This course is designed to enhance the health care professionals' understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation.
• The course covers adult and pediatric CPR, special resuscitation situations, AED use, relieving choking, two-rescuer scenarios and the use of a bag-valve mask. 
• It is intended for a wide range of medical professionals including physicians, nurses, nursing students, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, and others.  
• This is a moderately strenuous course, participants should be in good physical health able to perform all aspects of CPR.  
• This course takes approximately 5 hours to complete.

Heartsaver CPR AED - Cost is $50 per person (Prices subject to change)

• This course is designed for anyone that needs to learn CPR; corporate and retail employees, security, law enforcement, and most anyone that needs a course completion card for job or regulatory requirements.
• It is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, child, and infant CPR/AED use.  It also covers how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants.  
• This is a moderately strenuous course, participants should be in good physical health able to perform all aspects of CPR.  
• This course takes approximately 4 hours to complete.

Heartsaver First Aid - Cost is $50 per person (Prices subject to change)

• This course is for individuals with limited or no medical training that need a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
• This course is geared toward adult victims and is not intended for childcare providers.  
• This course covers first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies.  
• This course takes approximately 3 hours to complete.

Combined Heartsaver First Aid and Heartsaver CPR - Cost is $80 per person

• This combined course takes approximately 8 hours to complete.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid and CPR - Cost is $80 per person (Prices subject to change)

• This newly released course is designed for child-care providers, teachers, babysitters, parents, and others that need a course completion card for job or regulatory requirements.
• This video-based course teaches the skills necessary to prevent, respond to, and manage illnesses and injuries in children and infants until medical help arrives.  
• It includes first aid basics, asthma care, choking, epi-pen use and many other topics.
• This course takes approximately 6 hours to complete.
