City Council is the legislative branch of the City with the responsibility of adopting annual operating and capital budgets, city contracts and enacting the Columbus City Codes. Council also establishes land use policy through its zoning powers.

COVID-19 is a virus in the coronavirus family of diseases that can cause respiratory illness in animals and humans. Some coronaviruses commonly circulate in the United States and usually cause symptoms such as cough or runny nose, although some can cause more serious illness. Council will do its part to slow the spread of the virus and help mitigate the impact on families.
