City of Columbus to host 41st annual
Holocaust Remembrance
Ceremony at Columbus City Hall, open to the public

Columbus, OH
—On Friday, April 17, 2026, the City of Columbus will convene the 41st annual Holocaust Remembrance event to honor the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside millions of other victims of Nazi persecution.

As our community marks this solemn day, the ceremony serves as a profound reminder of our collective responsibility to confront antisemitism and hatred in all its forms. Survivors, survivors of family members, local leaders and community members will gather to reflect on the lessons of history and reaffirm a commitment to ensuring such atrocities are never repeated.

Event Details:

  • Date: Friday, April 17, 2026
  • Time: 12–1:10 PM
  • Location: City Council Chambers, Columbus City Hall, 90 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215
  • Procession: Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to cross Marconi Boulevard to pay respects at the Holocaust Memorial in Battelle Riverfront Park.

Members of the public and the media are encouraged to attend this hour of reflection and remembrance.
