Life Expectancy in Columbus (released 2025)

Community Health Assessment (HealthMap 2025)(PDF, 7MB): Franklin County HealthMap 2025 is the result of a broad collaborative effort, coordinated by the Central Ohio Hospital Council (COHC), Columbus Public Health (CPH), and Franklin County Public Health (FCPH). It is intended to help the health departments, hospitals, social service agencies, and other organizations better understand the health needs and priorities of Franklin County residents.
Key Community Health Indicators (released 2024): Annually, the Office of Epidemiology presents the latest data for Columbus, Franklin County, and Ohio on a select subset of health measures from the Community Health Assessment, including the areas of leading causes of death, infectious disease, maternal and child health, prevalence of health risk behaviors and conditions, mental health and addiction, and access to healthcare.

- Youth, 2008-2017 (under 18)(PDF, 2MB) (released 2019): This report examines the 48 suicides among Franklin County youth, with the goal of informing ways to prevent future deaths.
