Details: On Tuesday March 28, 2017 at approximately 3:53 p.m. the Columbus Division of Police received a call and was requested to respond to the area of 1300 S. Columbus Airport Rd. regarding two human legs that were found in the trash. When Patrol officers arrived a few minutes later they observed the human remains that were previously discovered. This is being investigated as a homicide.

Details: On March 27, 2017, at approximately 2:46 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the Waffle House at 1405 N. Cassady Avenue, on the report of a shooting in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as Corey La-Paul Brown, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. CFD Medic 20 responded to the scene and pronounced Mr. Brown deceased at 2:54 a.m.

Details: On March 25, 2017, at approximately 5:13 a.m., Columbus Police were notified of a shooting that occurred somewhere in the area of 1447 Oakwood Ave. by uninvolved bystanders, one of which agreed to drive the victims to Grant Hospital. Both victims arrived at Grant Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim, later identified as Anthony Terrell Baldwin, was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival at 5:32 a.m.

Details: On Wednesday March 22, 2017 at approximately 2:55 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police received a call and was requested to respond to 1044 E. 19th Ave. A U.S. Postal carrier observed signs of criminal activity on the front porch and alerted the police. When CPD arrived a few minutes later, they discovered two victims inside of this location that appeared lifeless. The victims had sustained gunshot wounds. They were pronounced at 3:21 p.m. by a CFD Medic sent to the scene.

Incident Address: 600 [Block] S. Wheatland Ave.
Details: On January 17, 2017, at approximately 10:42 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the area of 612 S. Wheatland Avenue on the report of a woman being assaulted in the street. Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate the victim, who had apparently walked away from the scene. Approximately 20 minutes later, officers were dispatched to an address down the street on the report of an unresponsive female believed to be the one involved in the earlier run. Officers then located the victim, later identified as Sandi Roth, unresponsive and unable to speak with the officers. CFD Medic 10 transported Ms. Roth to Mt. Carmel West Hospital where she was eventually stabilized, but did not regain consciousness. On March 19, 2017 at 2:45 a.m., Ms. Roth succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased by the attending physician.

Details: On March 11, 2017, at approximately 10:44 p.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the area of 1626 Maryland Avenue on the report of a large fight between numerous teens at a large party. Minutes later, at 10:52 p.m., additional calls were made to the police reporting gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located three victims in a nearby alley, all suffering from gunshot wounds. Tyquan Lackey was taken to Grant Medical Center by C.F.D. Medic 8 where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 11:26 p.m.
