Administration Bureau

All of the Bureaus are organizationally under the direction of the Administration Bureau.

The Background Investigations Unit, Professional Standards Unit, and Recruiting Office receive direct oversight from this office .

The Administration Officer is the Division's disciplinarian, and represents the Division in grievance hearings.

This Bureau also includes Human Resources and Payroll who take care of:

• Administering the payroll system: including hours worked, overtime, vacation, holiday and sick leave
• Administering personnel benefits such as insurance and the Worker's Compensation reporting system.
• Handles personnel transactions such as new hires, re-classifications, promotions and resignations.
