City Announces Incentive Study Roundtable Discussions
In
2016, the City commissioned a study to analyze incentive offerings for
residential, office and industrial development. The goal is to better
understand the impacts of current incentive programs on economic competitiveness.
Councilmember
Elizabeth Brown and Development Director
Steven Schoeny are hosting four public meetings on the incentive study to
explain its findings and answer questions from the community. The meeting
schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, August 24, Barack Community Center, 580 E.
Woodrow Ave.
- Monday, August 28, Tuttle Community Center, 240 W.
Oakland Ave.
- Wednesday, September 13, Glenwood Community Center,
1888 Fairmont Ave.
- Wednesday, September 20, Milo-Grogan Community Center,
862 E. Second Ave.
All
meetings are held from 5-6:30pm.
