City Announces Incentive Study Roundtable Discussions

In 2016, the City commissioned a study to analyze incentive offerings for residential, office and industrial development. The goal is to better understand the impacts of current incentive programs on economic competitiveness.

Councilmember Elizabeth Brown and Development Director Steven Schoeny are hosting four public meetings on the incentive study to explain its findings and answer questions from the community. The meeting schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, August 24, Barack Community Center, 580 E. Woodrow Ave.
  • Monday, August 28, Tuttle Community Center, 240 W. Oakland Ave.
  • Wednesday, September 13, Glenwood Community Center, 1888 Fairmont Ave.
  • Wednesday, September 20, Milo-Grogan Community Center, 862 E. Second Ave.

All meetings are held from 5-6:30pm.

The study is available at the Department of Development’s webpage.
