Council Hosts Capital Budget Public Hearings
Councilmember Elizabeth Brown, chair of the Finance
Committee, is hosting four public hearings to discuss the City of Columbus’
2018 capital improvement budget.
Columbus
City Council will meet with residents in their areas about local projects and
how best to continue prioritizing the needs of the City's neighborhoods. Each hearing will focus on projects
and priorities that are unique to the area where the meetings are being held.
“The
capital budget should be as accessible as possible to residents,” said
Councilmember Brown. “Columbus invests millions of dollars through capital
improvements, and our hearing process will allow us not only to share
information on those investments with residents, but also to receive feedback
on neighborhood priorities.”
