WHAT:
Councilmember Priscilla Tyson and The Commission on Black Girls understand the issues Black girls experience have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and want to help them soar as they return to school.
A drive-thru, back-to-school event will be held at the Wells Barn within Franklin Park Conservatory on Saturday, August 29, 2020, from 10:30a to 1:30p. Participants will receive free school supplies, learning kits, COVID-19 relief items, such as masks and hand sanitizers, and other items to support mental health and wellness.
