WHAT:
Councilmember Bankston, joined by community leaders, will announce the expansion of a new program aimed at providing Black-owned businesses with a suite of resources and support through the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. The program was first launched in 2021, and has been recently expanded to have over 70 businesses thanks to 175k in funding passed by Columbus City Council.
