WHAT:
Councilmember Emmanuel V. Remy, chair of the Public Safety Committee is hosting this public hearing to review the City's violence intervention programs. Council would like to share an update with residents over what violence prevention, intervention, and disruption programs occurred in 2021, and what programs can be expected in 2022.
Any resident seeking to submit written testimony should forward it to the office of Councilmember Remy. Written testimony must be received by 2pm on the day of the hearing and emailed to Lucy Frank at [email protected].
Residents who want to provide testimony via WebEx, or in person, during the hearing must email Lucy Frank at [email protected] by noon on the day of the hearing. Each speaker's remarks are limited to three minutes or less.
