WHAT:
Press conference announcing city and county support for Success By Third Grade, a community-wide initiative dedicated to ensuring that every child achieves reading proficiency by the end of third grade.
The city and the county are contributing a total of $1 million to hire network directors who will work with each of the seven participating Franklin County school districts: Columbus City Schools, Gahanna-Jefferson, Whitehall, Groveport Madison, Reynoldsburg, South-Western and Westerville.
