Council President
Andrew J. Ginther is hosting a public hearing to discuss proposed changes to
Columbus City Code 329 that deals with the City’s contracting code. The code
change will modernize the competitive bidding process and reduce the time and
cost associated with submitting and evaluating bids; reduce costs to taxpayers;
and ensure an objective, uniform, and transparent administration of the
bidding process. Public testimony will be accepted and the meeting will be
broadcast live on CTV, Columbus’ government television channel 3 on local cable
systems. Speaker slips will be accepted per general rules of City
Council.
