City Council President Zach Klein Forms Advisory Committee
Team of Community Leaders to Offer Insight on Issues Concerning
Residents
[COLUMBUS, OH] Turning
to the community for insight, Columbus City Council President Zach Klein
announced the formation of an advisory committee that will provide invaluable
feedback to the council president and his staff on issues relevant to the
citizens of Columbus.
“I believe that in my role as council president, it’s important to draw
on the insights, opinions and expertise of a diverse group of community, faith,
business, labor and neighborhood leaders,” said Klein.
The Council President
Advisory Committee represents a diverse group of neighborhood, faith-based,
labor, civic, public and private sector leaders who will share their knowledge
with Council President Klein and his staff on a variety of issues such as affordable
housing, the growing drug epidemic, and police and community relations.
“As an executive, this will always be a priority for me. To convene an
advisory committee that will help guide our work on council is how we address
important issues facing the community,” Klein continued.
