Westbourne Ave Extension
DESCRIPTION
AND BENEFITS:
This project consists of preliminary
engineering to examine potential alignments for an extension of Westbourne
Avenue from Taylor Station Road to Brice Road North/McCormick Boulevard and detailed
design for a first phase anticipated to be from Taylor Station Road to Granite
Pointe Drive. This new corridor is intended to enhance the area roadway network
and add connectivity for all users.

Study: Fall 2020 – Early 2022
Design (Phase I): Early 2022 – Late 2022
Right-of-way acquisition (Phase I): Summer 2022 – Summer 2023
Utility Relocations (Phase I): Fall 2022 – Spring
2023
Construction (Phase I): Spring 2023 – Late 2023, subject to funding approval by
City Council and weather conditions
ESTIMATED COSTS:
Study: $250,000
Design: $500,000
Right-of-way acquisition: $500,000
Construction: $3.6 million
