The Solid Waste Licensing & Inspection Program licenses and inspects solid waste facilities in the City of Columbus under authorization approval from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. The program applies to construction and demolition landfills, solid waste transfer stations, tire shredders, and compost facilities.
Registering Complaints Columbus residents may register solid waste facility related complaints at (614) 645-3111.
Color-Coded Signage At all of our licensed facilities, including solid waste facilities, we now post a small color-coded sign that is based on the results of the most recent inspection. For more information, call (614) 645-7005.
