Rocky Fork-Blacklick Accord Implementation Panel
The Rocky Fork-Blacklick Accord Implementation Panel was established as a means of implementing the Rocky Fork-Blacklick Accord. The Accord was adopted in 1997 as a multi-jurisdictional land use and development policy guide covering portions of Columbus, New Albany and Plain Township. Panel members serve without compensation and are appointed by the three participating jurisdictions. In the case of Columbus, appointments are made by the mayor with the approval of council. The Panel reviews development proposals (primarily zoning applications) for compliance with the Accord plan and provides a non-binding recommendation to the community with jurisdiction over the case.
Those looking to submit an application for review by the Rocky Fork-Blacklick Accord Implementation Panel should refer to the Information for Applicants resource for details on the process.
