Intersection Improvements
DESCRIPTION
AND BENEFITS:
This project consists
of geometric and mobility improvements to the intersections of Greenlawn Avenue
at S. Front Street and S. High Street at Greenlawn Avenue/Thurman Avenue. The
road alignment will be improved so the intersection isn’t offset and motorists will
be able to turn left onto High Street from Thurman Ave or Greenlawn Ave. This project
will include traffic signal improvements, addition of a shared use path,
sidewalk, and signal interconnect. This project
will also include incidental improvements such as drainage, traffic control,
sediment and erosion control, waterline relocation, and maintenance of traffic.
