Binns-Burroughs Safe Routes to School
Description:
Binns-Burroughs Safe Routes to School/Hilltop Community Mobility Plan will build sidewalks on the east
side of Binns Boulevard between Binns Elementary School and Eakin Road and on the west side of Binns Boulevard between S. Stephen Drive and the existing sidewalk to the north.
The project is sponsored by the Safe Routes to School program. Ramps will be installed at Stephen Drive and Vanderberg Avenue.
Estimated Costs:
Right-of-Way Acquisition: $150,000
Design: $175,000 (70% federal/state)
Construction: $490,000 (100% federal/state)
Current Status: In design
