A caller told the Police Dispatcher that someone was breaking into this address. During this call, the Dispatcher heard gunshots over the phone. Patrol Officers arrived and located the victim inside and called for medical assistance. The victim was transported to an area hospital in a life threatening condition. The victim did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital at 9:22 p.m. |

Mr. Jones was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and was unresponsive. Clinton Township Medic 132 responded and pronounced Mr. Jones deceased at 2:06 a.m. |
