| Details: On Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 4:32AM, Columbus Police Officers were called to 5500 block of E. Livingston Ave. on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers found two females suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The decedent, 30-year-old Shamira Rhodes, was pronounced dead, at scene, at 4:47AM, by Truro Township Medic 162. The second victim is 17-years-old and was transported by CFD Medic 823 to a local hospital in critical condition. A third victim, 42-year-old S.B, who had also suffered a gunshot wound, left the scene. S.B. later arrived at Mount Carmel East hospital by private conveyance and is in stable condition. |

The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 1:02 AM by Columbus Fire medics. |

| Details: On September 24, 2022, at approximately 11:06 p.m., Patrol responded to the area of E. 5th Avenue and Osborn St. on a shooting. Upon arrival, they found one male black victim of a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Grant Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Three other victims self-transported themselves to OSU East Hospital and they too were shot but not critically. They were treated and released. This incident took place outside a motorcycle club and there were no cooperating witnesses. |

CFD Medic 16 transported Copeland to Grant in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased at 1:34PM. |

While enroute, the responding officers were directed to the 1600 block of Harvester Ln. to search for a person who had been shot. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, Mayfield Evans III, M/B/33, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid to the victim prior to the medics arrival. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 12:02 AM. |

Despite receiving life-saving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at 11:11pm. |

Due to extenuating circumstances, Homicide team 3 responded and conducted an investigation. This incident is being ruled a Homicide, as the Coroner has confirmed the cause of death to be from a gunshot wound. |

High St. The victim was unresponsive and transported to OSU Main Hospital in critical condition. At this time, it is uncertain as to the victim's recovery from his injuries. Update September 19, 2022: The victim, Mr. Gregory Coleman Jr, succumbed to his injures and was pronounced deceased on September 18, 2022, at 12:40am. |

| Details: On August 18, 2022, at 10:01pm, Patrol Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Hinman Ave on a Burglary in Progress. Upon arrival, Officers located the suspect, Darion Mullins M/W/55, laying in front of the home covered in blood. Mr. Mullins was transported to Grant Hospital by CFD Medic 22 in stable condition. On September 7, 2022, Mr. Mullins succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 10:52pm. Mr. Mullins obtained his injuries while committing a Burglary at the residence he was located in front of. This investigation was transferred to the Homicide Unit on September 16, 2022. |

The Coroner's Investigator and Columbus Police Homicide Detectives responded to scene. During the initial investigation the Coroner's Investigator and Homicide Detectives were unable to determine the cause and manner of death of the infant. On September 13, 2022, the Coroner ruled this incident a homicide cause by blunt force trauma. |

Officers took a person of interest into custody and then rendered aid to the victim. Despite receiving emergency care, the victim succumbed to his injuries, and he was pronounced deceased at 3:59pm at the scene. |

| Details: On September 1, 2022, at approximately 11:57pm, officers were dispatched to the 6000 Block of N Hamilton Rd on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and found victim #2 suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to Mt. Carmel East Hospital, in critical condition, by Columbus Fire Medic #29. He was later upgraded to stable condition. As additional officers arrived at scene, they found victim #1 suffering from a gunshot wound as well. Officer rendered aid until Plain Township Medic #121 arrived. Despite the lifesaving measures taken by the officers, victim #1 succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 12:14am. |
