call. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, who has not been identified at this time, lying on the walk in front of 900 E Weber Rd suffering from gunshot wounds. Personnel from CFD Medic 13 pronounced the victim at 4:22am. At this time, there is no known motive for this incident. |

| Details: On Friday, March 26th, 2021, at 8:24PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to the area of 2101 Schenley Dr. on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers found 54-year-old Earl Simmons suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 18 transported Simmons to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased at 8:53PM. According to witnesses, just before the shooting, Simmons had attempted to breakup a fight in front of 2101 and 2105 Schenley Dr. Shortly thereafter, several weapons were fired in front of 2101 and 2105 Schenley Dr. One of the projectiles struck Simmons, fatally wounding him. |

CFD Medic #6 responded and pronounced Mr. Pack at 11:19pm. At this time, there is no known motive for this incident. |

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. Ronald Jones Jr., in the parking lot in front of 5185 Stone Ridge Dr. S. unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital by CFD Medic 23 in life threatening condition. Despite receiving life saving treatment, the victim was pronounced at 1:52am by attending medical personnel. At this time there is no known motive for this incident. |

The victim was self transported; however, despite life saving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced at 3:06am. At this time, the location of this shooting is still unknown. Investigators are talking to person(s) of interest to obtain additional information surrounding this incident. The victim's identification is being withheld at this time pending next of kin notification. |

Investigators are still attempting to determine what led up to the victim being shot. |
