Officers arrived and found a male laying in the backyard suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim would not speak to the Officers about what happened. The Victim was transported to an area Hospital in critical condition. On May 24th, 2020, at 11:55pm, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. |

| Details: On Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at approximately 4:47am, Columbus Police Officers responded to 1151 Heyl Ave on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Mr. Gregory Wilson was transported by CFD Medic 14 to Grant Hospital in stable condition. Mr. Zachariah Perry was pronounced deceased by CFD Medic 3 at 5:13am. The Columbus Police Homicide Section is still investigating this incident and reviewing possible motives involving this incident. |
