Flu Vaccine at CPH


  • CPH typically begins offering flu vaccination at the beginning of October each year.
  • Flu vaccine is recommended for everyone 6 months old and older. 
  • Babies under 6 months old are too young to be vaccinated. 
  • CPH offers Quadravalent shots, Flu mist, and Trivalent high dose flu for people over 65+.
  • CPH now offers limited doses of the “no-egg component” flu vaccine this season. More about seasonal flu vaccine 
  • CPH provides flu vaccine through the Immunization Clinic, and other special clinics.

Cost and Coverage

Adults

  • $19 for adults (fee may be covered by insurance or no cost based on income - see below) 
  • $40 high dose flu for people 65 and older
  • Medicare part B, Medicaid, CareSource, Molina, or United Healthcare (UHC) - you must bring your insurance and ID cards, and we will bill your insurance (you pay any part not covered by your insurance, up to $19). Clients with UHC will be responsible to pay any co-pay stated on your insurance card at time of service, if applicable.
  • If you are covered by another insurance company - you must bring your insurance and ID cards, and we will bill your insurance (you pay any part not covered by your insurance, up to $19). You will be responsible to pay any co-pay stated on your insurance card at time of service, if applicable.
  • No charge if you have no insurance or underinsured and your income is less than 185% of the federal poverty level (AICCO Coalition Vaccine).

Children

  • Children covered by Medicaid, CareSource, Molina, United Healthcare or another insurance must bring their cards to the clinic. 
  • For children without insurance, only a cost of $11.00 is charged for an administration fee.
  • No child will be denied if the family is unable to pay.
