NITRATE ADVISORY CANCELLED
Customers of the City of Columbus Dublin Road Water Plant were notified on June 30, 2016 about high levels of nitrate in the drinking water and were advised not to give the water to infants under six months old or to use it for making formula or juice, and this advisory was also extended to women who are over 30 weeks pregnant. We are pleased to report that the results of the most recent water samples show nitrate levels below the nitrate standard or maximum contaminant level of 10 parts per million. It is no longer necessary to use bottled water for infants less than six months old or women over 30 weeks pregnant.
